COLUMBIA (S.C.) COUMBIA (S.C.) In connection to the death by shooting of Terrell Sims the man charged with accessory following the fact of the murder. Columbia Police Department officers were actively searching for Sims who went missing since Christmas and were able to arrest Taylor Wardlaw in connection with the death of his friend. According to officials, Eddie Brown (30), has been arrested as a suspect in the murder. Sims was a 26-year-old male last seen at a home in the area of Ervin Street in Columbia Dec. 20. His partner, Wardlaw, reported him missing on Dec. 22 according to police. A body was discovered in a stream off Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner, Naida Rutherford, verified that the body was owned by Sims. Skip Holbrook, chief of Columbia Police says Wardlaw has been accused of murder as well having a gun in the accomplice of a violent crime. Police say Sims was shot dead multiple times.
